HISTORY
The National Shrine of Our Lady of Salambao – San Pascual Baylon Parish also known as "Obando Church" of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Malolos was established on 1754. It is located in the Municipality of Obando, Province of Bulacan. The Parish Fiesta is celebrated every 17th, 18th and 19th day of May in honor of St. Paschal Baylon, St. Claire of Assisi and Our Lady of Salambao. St. Paschal Baylon is the patron saint of Eucharistic congresses and societies, cooks and kitchens, and shepherds. St. Claire of Assisi, is the patron saint of television, computers, and screens, eye ailments, embroiderers, goldsmiths and laundry workers. Our Lady of Salambao (Immaculate Conception) is the patroness of fishermen, a bountiful catch and expectant or childless mothers. Read More
